I had a great experience at Clarissa’s and went back several times! I initially went to purchase a veil after a suggestion from a friend – they had dozens of beautiful options that could be customized to your desired length and shade to match your dress. I went back a second time for jewelry and a few hair pieces – the ladies that work at the shop are so helpful! I went back a third time with my mother to pick out jewelry and a hair piece for her as a gift – they were so sweet and were able to convert a bobby pin style to a comb and my mom was thrilled with it and her earrings. They also have lots of cute gifts as well!

The ladies at Clarissa Boutique were incredibly kind, patient and lovely to work with leading up to my wedding. Gretchen was wonderful in helping both me and my mom select the perfect hair accessories and jewelry but that was just the beginning. She also worked magic transforming my mom’s wedding dress from 1980 into a modern, knee-length dress for my bridal shower — and incorporated pieces of both my mom and grandma’s dresses into custom keepsakes. Additionally, Earldine created a beautiful custom veil to perfectly compliment my dress, which I absolutely loved. We visited often for our fittings and always enjoyed working with these ladies and browsing their beautiful store. Highly recommend!

Post-wedding addition: I ended up having a custom tulle shrug made to wear for my Catholic ceremony, and it was nothing short of gorgeous! My experience at Clarissa’s Boutique was nothing short of exceptional! My grandmother wanted to purchase my veil, so we made an appointment to visit with my dress. The owner spent over an hour with us helping choose the perfect veil and accessories to compliment my gown. She is very talented; the veil I chose was actually the first one she picked for me! I had the pleasure of working with the team at Clarissa Boutique over the last few years to help with hairpieces (for myself, bridal party and flower girl). The team helped with restoring my mom’s veil (including re-attaching the blusher), hairpieces for bridesmaids and myself; as well as a headband for the flower girl. Clarissa Boutique did an excellent job restoring and altering my mom’s veil. They transformed it from yellowed and dated to brand new and elegant! They also created beautiful custom hair pieces out of it. I’m very happy with it!! They also did a great job hemming and bustling my wedding dress, which I had bought off the rack.

My friend/bridesmaid and I had a lovely afternoon at Clarissa Boutique yesterday. What started as a veil shopping trip – ended up with purchasing coordinating accessories for all of the bridesmaids. She helped me clarify my overall vision for my and my people (especially since I’m being pretty laissez faire with it comes to dresses and shoes for them) and there was zero sales pressure. I had such a great experience here! I was helped by Penny, who was so sweet and so thorough in assisting me when searching for a headpiece and earrings for my upcoming wedding. The selection at the boutique is great and they seemed to have options for a wide variety of budgets. Penny really took her time in helping me look at my options and really considered the available choices by looking at photos of my dress and taking my hair/skin coloring into consideration as well. My mother and I went into Clarissa’s to have them redesign my grandmother’s 1940s veil. I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted, but they were able to come up with numerous ideas and options. They ended up designing a headpiece for me while incorporating my grandmother’s veil. I received so many compliments on the end result. My new headpiece was ready within a week too.
